Monthly Production Reports

The BEP is transitioning to a new data management system, designed to provide real time comprehensive, integrated information. Once the new system is fully operational, the BEP will resume posting monthly data on its website. We anticipate this beginning with October 2012 data. However, BEP will only report currency deliveries on its public website.

BEP’s production is driven by an annual order from the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). Because of the confusion and questions that have arisen when BEP’s production does not equal delivery, BEP will only report monthly deliveries to the FRB. Deliveries are currency notes that are available to the FRB for issuance to the public.

* The above information represents the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's actual production for the month. Notes produced are required to pass a final quality inspection prior to delivery to the Federal Reserve. The final inspection is required to assure that both the visual quality and machine detectable features in each note meet Federal Reserve standards. Production that does not pass final inspection is not delivered to the Federal Reserve and is not reported in annual delivery totals.
Note: The fiscal year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th.
