The Bureau of Engraving and Printing to Host Treasurer of the United States Rosie Rios for an Open House on the New $10 Redesign



WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing will host the 43rd Treasurer of the United States Rosie Rios for a special event about the new $10 redesign, which will feature a notable woman and revolve around the theme of democracy.  Treasurer Rios will solicit feedback and answer questions about the new $10 from BEP visitors.  Five hundred visitor slots quickly filled during the reservation period following the Secretary of the Treasury’s announcement on June 18.

Please note, the BEP is a secure federal installation and members of the media must adhere to the following rules: (1) Each person must bring a government-issued, picture identification and media credentials; (2) weapons and alcohol are prohibited; 3) vehicles entering the facility are subject to search; 4) members of the media, as well as their equipment, are subject to magnetometer, x-ray, and/or hand checks upon entering/exiting the facility; and 5) members of the media are required to sign a License Agreement and Waiver of Liability.
